Would I actually say that simply painting your garage door is an upgrade? I would.

A client hired me recently to paint her garage doors after she saw my post sharing my painted garage doors. White garage doors can become “tired” looking and show every dent, ding, bike tire mark and dirt.

Placed some drop cloths under the doors and poured a paint tray full of Black Fox by SW in a satin finish. She wanted the white casing around the door painted too and I think that was a great call!

The doors took 2 coats of paint and it went fairly quickly since there aren’t any windows. I love her color choice with the brick and think by painting it the doors instantly feel upgraded.

I’ll be heading back over to paint both sides of an exterior door that leads into the garage and the front door. All doors will be painted Black Fox to match the garage.

Painting aluminum doors is such an easy way to update your exterior. Painting the doors a dark color hides everything making life easier!
