What better way to spread Christmas cheer than with homemade wine bottle stoppers?
I made a few of these wine bottle stoppers using the always popular bottle brush trees and had to share. They are ADORABLE!

What do you need to make this project?
1. Wine corks- affiliate link for corks https://amzn.to/35TlnJI
2. Mini Bottle brush trees- affiliate link for tree https://amzn.to/2Lhl5nZ
3. Hot glue gun and glue sticks

This is seriously a 5 minute DIY and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It takes longer to click, ship and wait 2 days😂

My mini bottle brush trees came in 4 sizes. I was debating which one to use and this was my thought process for what it’s worth.
If your friend drinks red wine it will likely be corked on the counter so you could go big or go home. If the recipient prefers chilled wine a large tree on top of the bottle may make it difficult to fit in the fridge. I chose the 2nd largest for my project.

STEP 1-Glue your tree base to the top of the cork. Make sure the side of the tree base that has a predrilled hole is facing up then add a drop of hot glue to the top of the cork and press tree base to cork- again hole side facing up. I’m pretty sure this is about the only thing that could go wrong!!!
STEP 2- Add a small drop of glue to the hole in the top of the wood tree base and press the metal tree into the base.

And that is all folks. So easy and so stinking cute. I’m so excited to give these wine stoppers with a bottle of wine of course this holiday season!!

Cheers- Kristen
