Did you know you can dry herbs in your oven?
Fall has set in and I wanted to dry out my fresh oregano, basil and rosemary to use over the winter.
It’s so easy and fast to dry herbs in the oven. Turn the oven to the lowest temperature -mine is 170.
Cut herbs, wash and pat dry. No need to pull leaves off the stems.
Place herbs on a baking sheet and cook on the middle rack for 30 minutes then check.

I left these in for 30 minutes and they were done.

The basil took an hour. I flipped/stirred them at the half hour mark.
Once dried you can just strip the leaves off and crumble them for use.
