DIY State Outline Nail Art

Nail art is so cute and super easy to do!  My daughter made this “Home is where the heart is” artwork for her room.  She printed off a state outline, cut it out with scissors and traced it with pencil onto a stained piece of scrap wood.

You could do this with any state outline or even create art for a kids rooms like in the shape of a football, soccer ball, baseball…..

She hammered short nails with wide heads around the outline then wrapped embroidery thread around each nail criss crossing it across the outline before tying it off.

Kinda breaks my heart a little too. We lived in that house, in that town, in that state for 10 years!
