Homemade Salt Play dough

I made some salt play dough recently for our grandbaby to squeeze, squish, poke and press cookie cutters into. No doubt she would taste it so I made it vs buying it.

Making natural baby safe play dough is really simple. In a mixing bowl stir these 3 ingredients – 1 cup salt, 2 cups flour, 1 cup water.

Mix and knead until it is playdough consistency. You can add more flour to thicken or more water to thin.

Add a little food coloring and essential oils to scent it if desired.

A fun sensory activity for babies and toddlers!

Just made a new batch for our grandbaby. Such an easy recipe. She’s closer to 2 now and doesn’t try to eat it anymore 🤣

Happy playing-

Kristen
