DIY Deer Champagne Flutes

Oh deer, we are simply crazy about holidays and always use champagne flutes for our holiday meals. It makes the meal feel extra fancy and the kids always get to use a fancy glass too {filled with sparkling cider}.

All but one of mine has broken and I was loosely looking around for a new set before Christmas Eve. I stumbled across a post on https://www.facebook.com/pishposhboutique1/ sharing mini deer head ornaments hot glued to dollar store champagne glasses. Brilliant!

I knew right then and there I was going to skip looking for fancy crystal flutes and chose a budget friendly DIY instead.

These mini ornaments are $1.98 at Walmart. Super cute and inexpensive for 4. I’ve also purchased the mini snowflakes and pine cones to make wine stoppers.

Shop mini ornaments or for small items to adorn glasses for any holiday season.

I bought glass champagne flutes for $1.00 each at Walmart. If you have little kids and want to let them have a special flute this might be worth the extra trip to the dollar store for plastic versions.

Removed the gold loop of string to hang the ornament and just added a bead of hot glue to the back and pressed. That is all folks!

I hand wash them while adorned. After the winter holidays I may pop off the deer and wreath (hot glue is temporary)then toss in a bag for next year. Although is there even a champagne worthy holiday after valentines before thanksgiving????? Maybe the deer stay put!

Cheers – Kristen
