We’ve lived in a lot of houses as a 20 year military family. I feel like I’ve won the lottery in this house but you will be shocked why!

My least favorite chore- next to toilets- is cleaning the oven. We’ve had a few houses that didn’t have the self-clean option and required a whole lot of scrubbing. Exhausting.

If you are lucky enough to have a self-cleaning oven it’s a matter of hitting a button, waiting a few hours, some smoke and then wiping up the ash. Not too bad but strong smokey smells are a migraine trigger for me so no bueno.

After all these years of caring for whatever said oven was in the house I moved into our current house. I was introduced to the most magical thing I’ve ever seen. It’s not that we have 2 ovens (which is amazing with a family of 6) it’s the oven liner inside it!!!!!!

Wait. What? How could it be that I never knew this stuff existed? How was I in the dark all these years? Did you know about this? If not, your life is about to get so much easier! Ask your mother and all of your friends if they have oven liner. If not, be a hero and give it as gifts! It’s MAGICAL!

When you have drips in the oven all you do is lift your liner out, wash it in the sink and put it back in. That’s.it.

This incredible invention has been out there in the world and I never knew it. Of course it’s on Amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond carries it. Heck, you can even use a coupon for it.

It’s the little things in life that can be so exciting!
