Got a few spare curtain rods around?  Did you know they make great organization tools?  One idea is to loop medals over the rod from sports, races etc .  We used one in my daughter’s room for her soccer ribbons.

Sorry for the poor lighting but this was taken in the master closet.  We had a crazy mess of ball caps that I contained behind the door in our closet.  I mounted the rod then used curtain clips to hang the hats.  Voila!!!! Eliminate the pile and easily find the hat you want!

Another idea with a larger rod is to display sports jerseys on the wall.  These were my son’s football jerseys and he loved seeing his jerseys from previous seasons on the wall.

You can use curtain rods and hooks to hang everything from necklaces to framed photos with ribbon hangers to coffee mugs!
